Well, the deadline for the writing contest came and went, and nobody posted any submissions for consideration.

Only a few users actually commented on my last reminder post to announce their intent of submitting some writing for the contest, unfortunately, so it looks like it wouldn't have been much of a 'contest' anyway with so few entries.

To celebrate Jin's birthday (as everyone voted to in the recent poll), we'll be having a writing contest! The theme is, of course, why we love Jin. The deadlines have been extended; please submit your video to this post by the 15th! I'd hoped to have a winner by Valentine's Day, but that doesn't seem plausible right now.
